Friends that mean much to me

:iconslasher12:

You’re such a great artist and designer, you know, and I love your style of art and your characters – they’re so soft and fluffy. My favorites from you include Slasher, Java and Gryphon.

:iconleadbyfaith:

Juba, you’re such a great artist, no matter what you think or others think of you or your work. Sorry to hear you’re so busy with college, but your art rocks and Juba’s such a cool character!

:iconserpentina666:

Serpentina, keep it up! Don’t let your interests pull you down, no matter how much backstabbing you get! And your work beats my work hands down any time.

:iconwolfcub:

Wolfcub, you’re a great artist, and your style reminds me of all those years hugging very soft plush toys like my stuffed Pikachu and my stuffed Eeyore, which I still hug today. And Fake Daxter rocks!

:iconlars99:

Lars, you’re an excellent cartoonist, and all of your characters are drawn too cute! I especially love the way you draw some characters, like Crash Bandicoot, for example!

:icontani-tiger:

Tara, what can I say about you? You simply rock, and you were the reason why I started drawing again after a long absence through DeviantART. And your work and animations, I can say, are legendary.

:iconcrunchinator:

Justin, you’re a pretty funny guy. While I am not a big fan of your stories (since I’m a very poor reader), you’re one good friend and you are very supportive of my work, commenting and faving almost every one of them.

:iconsonyals:

We don’t know each other much, but upon first seeing your work only some months ago, there is only one word that I can say: WOW. You draw like a professional light years ahead of me. Really true you know!

:iconkryptothedolphin:

You’re a great artist, and you are supportive of my work when you can. And I like your characters. You really are one true friend of mine.

:iconpene:

Pene, you’re a great artist, and although you’ve been busy before you have been one of my greatest supporters on DeviantART when you had the opportunity to do so. For this, I thank you indefinitely.

Hello Everyone!

I'm back from my American trip after spending nearly 10 1/2 days in the land of the free and only came back to Sydney this Afternoon and hence I'm a little tired, but suffering no jet lag suprisingly.

Well, I want to say in a brief nutshell, about my holiday in Hawaii and Utah.

Hawaii, to summon it up, was absolutely fantastic, nothing short of awesome, I'm telling you. Even though I don't surf or relax on Waikiki Beach (I'm not a beach person, that's why)...I'm telling you, you don't have to be a beach person to love Hawaii. Waikiki was a shopping haven, and Pearl Harbor gave me emotions as I saw a sunken ship ruin and a memorial with the names of dead soldiers who perished in the Pearl Harbor bombings. The north shore of Oahu was nice, and some promotories were great although windy. And a suburb tour of one of the richest places in Oahu is neat too. And so many beautiful girls there too...

But I'm saving the best for last. The Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Oahu was remarkably GREAT. I loved every little bit of the place, and although I had a little conflict during lunch, it didn't stop me having the time of my life. The Rainbows of Paradise Canoe paegant, the Polynesian culture and the luau were awesome, and the Horizons live night show was nothing short of spectacular. In fact, it is so GOOD, I want to go there again and do it all! I would recommend this place for anyone who is going to Hawaii, whether you are into Polynesian culture like me or not...(unfortunately, this blew one of my covers that hid one of my secrets for years, oh well)...

Utah, in comparison, was rather sleepy and bland. Not much was there to see except the Gateway shopping plaza and Temple Square, the heart of the Mormon Church. I only went there to see my brother Matthew tie the knot with his fiance Kate. Now...I have gained in-laws, although that is nothing special to jump for about. I also saw some of my friends and relatives for the first time in person even though I knew them for years.

Well, I'm back in Sydney, and guess what? I have five coloured pictures that I brought back with me from America (but only one of them was completely done in America, the rest was lined in Australia before the trip {and one was partially coloured before the trip too}), so I'm going to upload them all to prove that I didn't just enjoy myself okay?

I will soon upload some photos of my trip here on DA or maybe open a Facebook account for that.

Logging into DA, I have been hit with 184 deviations and 122 messages. And one damn note that reported my Anti-communist stamp as discrimination. What discrimination? Just because I don't support communism doesn't mean that I discriminate people. What is DA up to these days? Geez...anti-capitalist and anti-American propaganda get a free hand and even get promoted by DA, yet anything that dares challenge the left-wing machine, such as pro-capitalist and anti-communist works, get condemened from the word GO and are often reported as "discrimination". Discrimination against what? Capitalism isn't discriminatory...communism is just as bad, if not worse...than ideologies like fascism and nazism...and that's saying something. Geez, DA needs to be politically neutral and not take sides. Whatever it is though, no one can change my mind, I'm as anti-communist as I will ever be and that is that.

And, on a smaller note, I've been here for three years now, but I seem to be more isolated than ever before. I wonder why?

Arrivederci!

Um...the one who reported my stamp was rebuked by the DeviantART administration, who then pardoned my violation. At least that was good.

Don't worry, Sir. I know the evil of communism and I'll understand your political views.

I'm not supporting capitalism, but just a western democracy model, when the regime is divided into legislature, executive and judgement and the citizens live in freedom.
